RESIDENTIAL - COLLIERS MARKET REPORT 2024
HOTEL INDUSTRIAL & LOGISTICS RETAIL RESIDENTIAL OFFICE
The transaction volume for residential property ended at DKK 18 billion in 2023, down DKK 15 billion from DKK 33 billion in 2022. Foreign investors in particular have been more reluctant, partly because there was a low supply of high-volume residential properties and projects in 2023. At the same time, buyers and sellers have had difficulty agreeing on the pricing of such cases, which usually appeal to inter national investors. However, we have seen increased activity in the transac tion market at the end of 2023, which has contributed to better pricing benchmarks, and we expect to see more residential property deals in the future as buyers and sellers are now more aligned than in most of 2023. We expect demand in 2024 to remain focused on stand ing properties in attractive residential areas in Greater Copenhagen, Aarhus and well-established growth cities.
