Retail summary

TRANSACTION VOLUME DKK BILLION

The retail sector made a comeback after the coro navirus pandemic and a 2022 with outbreaks of war and economic turmoil. Rising interest rates and changing consumption patterns pose challenges, but the rental market is doing better than feared. 2023 went better for retail and dining than many had pre dicted. Online shopping is gaining ground again, but brick and-mortar stores have proven to have great strengths. The investment market is almost dormant, but opportunities may arise as more players consider strategic divestments.
