RETAIL - COLLIERS MARKET REPORT 2025
Retail summary
TRANSACTION VOLUME DKK BILLION
The Danish retail segment is slowly recovering, with consumer purchasing power being restored. Uncertainty still clouds the market, but there are grounds for optimism and a brighter outlook. Tenants continue to demand attractive, well-located leases, and convenience-driven concepts offer new opportunities in city centres. Nevertheless, rents need to come down in cer tain areas if tenants are to deliver sustainable retail opera tions, and landlords need to adapt to new market conditions. Investors are keeping a close eye on market developments and are vigilant, but deals can be done on the right terms.
