The market is on its way to stabilisation As 2024 wore on, the industrial and logistics property mar ket moved closer to stabilisation. Compared to the very hectic period in 2020-2023, when supply chains were under tremen dous pressure due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the blocking of global transport routes such as the Suez Canal, the situation in 2024 was different. In 2024, demand pressures peaked. One of the main reasons for this was that the European econ omy started to show signs of weakness in 2024, with the German economy under particularly intense pressure. The weak economic momentum in Europe was reflected e.g. in the development of industrial production, which fell by more than 6% between August 2022 and September 2024. The weak European market activity affected the Danish market as industrial/logistics vacancy lev els began to gradually increase, standing at 2.9% at year-end 2024, i.e. 0.9 ppts above the average
